Since 2004, the eTax option has been included with Mate at the same time as the introduction of mandatory electronic filing.

At the time, the requirement to digitally file VAT and ICP returns was met with some skepticism. It's now clear that this significantly reduces administrative burden, as VAT returns and ICP statements are automatically processed and submitted at the touch of a button.

eTax is now considered indispensable by many and should be a must-have for any administrative system. After all, everything is correct and handled automatically, right down to the payment with the correct payment reference.
